Only one word….Inconsistent.

Focused on my short game.
How did you first become interested in golf and what steps did you take to start playing?
I started playing with my father 20 years ago.

What’s the one thing that’s had the biggest impact on your golf game?
What was the first major purchase you made related to golf & how much did you spend? And what made you think it was time to invest in your game?
Joining a golf club! Needed a consistent place to play.
What’s the one golf-related purchase you’re dying to make now?
Joining another club.
How and why you did you get involved with Original Tee?
My friendship and support for Wendell and the OTGC spans two decades. I also believe in the ideals and values of the OTGC mission statement.
Have you played in the OTGC? Describe your experience.
I have played almost every year and enjoy the whole weekend. I now bring my wife and kids and make it a great summer family weekend, we plan to do for many years.
What about the annual OTGC do you look forward to?
Seeing my friends who I don’t get a chance to see or play golf with often enough.
What non-golf things do you do that help your game?
Focus on my golf “look.”
Talk about your approach to the mental game in golf.
Try not to think so much.
What do you find is the hardest thing to correct if you’re doing it wrong?
What’s more important, the long game or the short game? Why?
Short game, What do they say “drive for show putt for dough”?
What do you remember about your favorite round of golf?
Beating Byron Kirkland. lol
What have you learned about yourself by playing golf?
I learned that I can actually relax and stop thinking about work all the time.
What’s the most you’ve won/lost on a round of golf?
I don’t bet, I need to send my kids to college.

Danny Meiseles serves as President and Executive Producer, Content for the National Basketball Association. In this role, Danny oversees the development, production and programming of NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League content and events globally. Danny is also responsible for overseeing the league’s digital media, operations and technology, and corporate and special services functions as well as managing the league’s relationships with its national television partners–ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA Digital–and its local and regional partners, including Fox Sports Network.
A graduate of St. John’s University, Danny began his career at NBC as an associate producer working on the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Danny and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Summit, NJ with their son Matthew and daughter Nicole.
